Blessed with stunning scenery, the course consists of stylish wooded parkland with panoramic views to the foothills of the Scottish highlands. Within beautifully lush and majestic surroundings, some truly memorable holes await the visitor, for example the charming and challenging 15th is one of the most famous par 3s in Scotland.
The new season is under way and we are delighted to welcome members and visitors alike to the course. The temporary clubhouse is now open and staffed from 09.00 to 15.00 Sunday to Saturday and our hard working greens staff's efforts have brought the course into great condition for the time of year despite highly adverse weather. This is ongoing work and by the end of this month (May) we will have a full complement of staff to ensure that we are doing all we can to earn your continued support for the course and the club.
The provision of a new clubhouse continues to be a prime focus of attention for the committee and we are pleased to be able to advise that discussion on the style, design and construction method has progressed and that the application process for detailed planning permission can begin very shortly. As soon as we have the final design drawings and quotations for construction, we will update the membership for your input and approval. In the meantime, basic drawings are available to view at the temporary clubhouse.
We would like to remind all members of the fantastic visitor rate options that we have in place. With Covid 19 restrictions easing you can take advantage of these offers to welcome more friends and family visitors and to showcase the fantastic golf on offer here in Callander.
Your comments and questions are always welcome – send them to firstname.lastname@example.org or leave your message with the clubhouse staff. We look forward to hearing from you.
