Callander Golf Club is committed to offer golf development to Junior golfers age 5 – 17 years old.
Callander Golf Club has previously produced juniors who have succeeded in their sport at both local and regional level. We are committed to offer a fully inclusive programme to promote the sport in a safe and fun environment. We will be working closely with members of the Professional Golf Association (PGA) as well as Scottish Golf Limited (SGL)
Our Junior Golf Programme will be organised and supported by volunteers who are PVG checked and authorised to work with young people.
Our main season will run from April – October with coaching offered to new and developing golfers.
Our Junior development programme will be offered weekly throughout the main academic summer season offering each age group & development stage opportunity to further their skills.

Membership
Application forms are available from the Clubhouse. Junior Membership includes the Junior Coaching Programme, as well as unlimited access to all courses & practice facilities

What will the programme look like?
With the support of Allan Martin as Callander Golf Clubs Head PGA Professional & Roving Pro, the Junior coaching will mirror what he already has in place through his successful Junior involvement at other Clubs.
Allan has committed to the following Junior Coaching days : Mondays
A Ten Week Coaching Programme to begin on Monday 18th of July at 6.30pm
If the household has clubs bring them along but don’t buy them especially as Allan will advise when required.

Dress Code
Junior Members are requested to dress appropriate for playing the sport. Football colours are not permitted, otherwise our dress code is relaxed. When representing your Club at other Clubs, player will be expected to wear Club tops if provided.

Please could parents / carers ensure that juniors bring suitable waterproof clothing, head protection, water bottle every week.
Consent Forms
We ask all parents / carers to complete a consent form on behalf of each child. This covers, medical issues, requirements and treatment as well as media.
Timekeeping / Attendance
If a junior is going to be late for coaching or needs to be collected early, please let us know as soon as possible. It is also helpful for planning if we are aware that a junior is going to be absent for a session.
